Thomas Wardhaugh

Health and fitness have always played a big role in Thomas’ life. He is passionate about using exercise as a means of restoring function, and allowing people to reach their potential whether it be in sport, or daily life.

Thomas has an Honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Otago, and this year has begun post-graduate study in sports physiotherapy.

He enjoys working in the team environment and looks after the University A rugby team. He will also travel to Japan later this year as physiotherapist for NZ Universities Rugby. Thomas enjoys treating a range of injuries, with a particular interest in shoulder and knee pain, stemmed from years of managing injuries of his own.

Aside from physiotherapy, Thomas enjoys everything outdoors. He is a keen hunter and diver and has grown up around boating, fishing and water sports.
